  We Need PotDs. - Site News

I took a look through the current queue for PotDs and I found something interesting:


  • Presently there are 160 PotDs standing by and waiting to be uploaded
    Only thirty-five of those PotDs are from authors other than Jetfreak
    (this is not a complaint - Jet makes awesome PotDs.)


  • The last new PotDs to be uploaded to the site were added to the queue in July
    Less than thirty new PotDs have been uploaded in the past six months (since April 2011)


So we're asking: submit as many of your new PotDs as soon as you can. Don't let the 1-voters scare you, either.

Posts: 56 		I suspect the reason, or at least a possible reason, for the low number of new PotD submissions is because Filefront is still whacked. Things do not appear as they should. For example, where you see latest forum threads there are no new listing since January 2011. If you go into the forums directly you can see newer ones. Also, many files appear to either be corrupt or are no longer available to download.

I understand that it takes time to rebuild the Filefront servers, but let's be honest...it's been nearly 18 months now. LegacyFiles is even worse. There appears to be no new files in months.

This is only my opinion based solely on what I can see. This is not a complaint but if truth be told, I'm as frustrated as anyone else.
