  Time to put a ad in the Classifieds...Armada2Files needs staff again! - Site News

--ATTENTION--

I recieved numerous replies, and have decided on new staff additions for now. Any further emails asking to be staff will be denied as of 2:00 PM Central Standard Time, January 12th. Save them for when we next need staff, please.



Voyager009's recent "departure" leaves us with a few openings in the staff ring. We need people who will be able to post maps either daily (Preferred) or weekly. Benefits? Well, having the pride of working at the largest A2 download source on the net is an obvious one, but if you do a good job here, you can work your way up at Filesnetwork, and mabey get your own site!

There are a few important things though:

1. You need free time. A few hours a day or week set aside for posting files will do, nothing more is required.

2. NO SLACKING. THis is the main reason people get fired from Armada2Files. When you decide to work here, follow through and post files every week. Don't post a few then go into hibernation. We don't want you to sit at your computer all day adding files, but we don't went you to post 15 files one week, then 2 the next.

3. At least a Cable Connection. Adding files is very tedious on 56k, so a Cable/DSL/etc Connection is required.

I *****ume looking at this means that people who "work" using their free time for this would get "paid" for thier free time?? If not you really need to re-word your statement.

just an idea, but shouldn't old posts like this have disabled comments?
it'd be nice to still be able to view older news posts, but after a certain time, why not disable comments?
...just an idea...

ps - i know this post can be considered a little out of date (being december and all), but (on a more recent news post - staffing changes) i'd be willing to commit time to benefit this site. so as not to bog you down with unnessesary e-mails, i won't send one until i see the next 'need staff' news post

Well its not ussualy nessasery because nobody usualy finds it. nice idea for the future though Two Thumbs Up!
