Hello there site viewers! I hope you've had an enjoyable April and are readily awaiting the birthday month here on Armada Files. If there's anything you missed, don't worry for there is plenty of time to get involved, however that is not what I'm here to talk to you about today, ohhhh no.

In deed, the site has been staffed by many a kind folk who have taken up arms to upload some of the best mods for the Armada series around, however I'm sure you can appreciate the amount of effort it takes to do such an act and that sometimes, just sometimes, reviews are given a back-seat priority. Well, we want to change that. Perhaps you have not noticed, but the reviews for Deemon's Prometheus and Admiral's Sovereign were re-written by me to make them full, to try and give some idea of what you were downloading (that's the point, right?). Where we need your help is that we can't go through every file on the database in a short amount of time, it's simply asking of the impossible. In stead, we'll do what we can, but we want you to alert us to any of those reviews where you feel a bit more could be added and we'll do our damndest to add to them to get that desired "Download me" effect because that's what we're supposed to do. smile

To alert us, please use this thread and provide us with either the url or the name of the file in question. Thank you for reading and stay tuned for more news from the staff!

Posts: 784 		As another note, if you would like to try your hand at writing reviews on a file thats not got much of a review please feel free, credit will be given to you.

Also, should you run into objectionable comments etc while on the site we do want to know about them, because we can't trawl through five years worth of comments/files.

If you do any reviews for files that need them post them in the thread along with the file ID its for (the file ID is the number after the " ; " in the URL). If you spot any comments that need looking at just post the URL. (we are more used to using the user interface than the admin one smile )

Posts: 74 		in the reiview it was stated that the New Orleans Class Was made to fight the Borg. that is not true. the New Orleans was Commisioned in the 2330's, wich would be 30 years before the borg were discovered. Just thought i'd point that out.

Posts: 54 		I'm having some technical difficulty at the moment sending email, but I can receive just fine. So until I get it straightened out, best I can do is comment on the comment page for the mod (I'll refrain from that at the moment). Meanwhile whoever administers the registration process for the forums may want to take a look at the verification links that go out to newly registered users. They don't work.

I can't use the alternative staff email to look into it yet until my end straightened out. Just a heads up.

Posts: 784 		Thanks for reporting this, I have reported it to the head administrator of GamingForums and it is now being looked into.

N0e (The head GF admin) has offered to manually validate your account himself, if you will let me know what your GamingForums registration name is then I will pass it along to him so you can start posting on the forums.
