I've downloaded and checked it out. Well - it would been a NICE ship, but the box-section of the Top Hull looks too too much like - A COFFIN! Sorry, but that's what throwing my interest off on this ship. Maybe should of made it less 'COFFIN-like' shape Can pass for a 'Federation MORTUARY ship' if you need a furneral arrangements. frown

thats what i thought when i first saw the design, apparently the pod is the forerunner to the nebula's, if you ask me the resemblance is kinda visible, any way it does give it character big grin

Not to bad. Poly counts a little high for the classification the ships, but the biggest problem is the low quality textures. Sorry to say this Beginner but they are absolutely horrible. Nice to include the light maps but they are just far to low quality for the model itself. Still. Perhaps an update a later time??

That's not a springfield class the springfield class is simalar to the NX class

That pod is actually shaped correctly. If you have Bridge Commander, there is a Springfield Class there that you can download, which is also fairly accurate.

My only gripe about this model is that the nacelles are wrong. The Springfield Class sports nacelles identical to that of the Cheyenne class, except, where the Cheyenne has four of them, the Springfield Class only has 2.

In an update of this, I'd like to see the correct nacelles used. Oh, and I suggest using the SNS Galaxy and its textures to make this design.

this is just a simple ship from my mod. - i see what you mean about the nacelles, i will probably re-release this ship in a ship pack along with a few others - to name a few falkirk, akira and sabre - that will be in my reman wars mod, also i need to get the shape right on the pod so about a month or two smile

b.t.w, i think the textures are quite nice, anyhow they are better than the ones i made to use - think a slab of concrete only much more dull - so i'm glad i got BC all that time ago
