Soyuz class (2.2) - File Description  


Description:
I released version 2.0 of the Soyuz class back last December as an improvement over the one that I made in 2005. Unfortunately, some texture files went missing. As I was about to release version 2.1 with the missing textures included, Jetfreak approached me and offered me some better textures that he had made. So, this is basically the same ship as Version 2.0, but with cleaner and crisper textures made by Jetfreak.

Soyuz class (2.2) - Readme

Installation:

Copy the file fsoy.sod into the SOD folder
Copy the .tga files into the Textures > RGB folder
Copy the file fsoy.odf into the ODF > ships folder
Copy the file fsoy.bmp into the Bitmaps > Admiralslog folder

Open the file fyard2.odf or fyard.odf (whichever shipyard you want the ship
To be built from) and insert the line: buildItemXX = "fsoy" under
build Parameters below the last ship to be build
XX being the next unused number

Save that file

Open "tech 1" from the Techtree folder and insert this line:

fsoy.odf 1 fyard2.odf // merced class

Save this file, open "fulltech.tt" and insert the following line

fsoy.odf 0

Then save and open "GUI_global.spr" from the sprites folder

Then add this line under federation build buttons:

b_fsoy gbfsoy 0 0 64 64


Add this under:

@reference=128
@tmaterial=interface

fsoyw1 fwsoy 40 0 40 40
fsoyw2 fwsoy 0 40 40 40
fsoyw3 fwsoy 40 40 40 40
fsoyw4 fwsoy 80 0 40 40
fsoyw5 fwsoy 0 0 40 40

This ship is a kitbash of P81's Miranda class. Textures Soyuz1-Soyuz7 by Jetfreak.

Posts: 703 		This is the best model out for this ship. It's excellent. The only thing I don't like about this is that there are no warp nacelle glows. That's an easy fix.
