Okay so where to begin. I've never been one for criticising a release without good reason but I think this time I'm going to have to say something.

1) Whilst the mesh itself is the right shape, more or less, the quality is poor. Polys have been severely wasted and I can't understand why the mesh is 4200+ polys when even making the pipe work on the eagles spine wouldn't send the poly count that high. I know because I've made one but never textured it.

2) Textures. Why on earth were two model 3d isometrical ortho shots used and not some proper textures?? There are 3d meshes of the eagle around. You just need to look.

Aside from the support files which are of a regular quality I would say this is a bit of a disappointment. Perhaps v2.0 is in order with a better texture set.

ouch!!
not sure what happened with the polys
as for the textures that was the best shot i could find with the little time i have to source pictures,please direct me to better if you know of any as i wasnt really happy with them, you should have seen the first version.
as you have made one perhaps you could let me texture it then i give it back and you give it a yay or nay
i did find a model made on 3ds max but was unable to convert it to sod which was a shame as it was very detailed,i tried to import it into ms but ms complained about it having to many vertices
now i shall run to my room and cry
everyone hates me now

as payne is known for constructive criticism, he is only trying to encourage you to get a version 2.0 asap. once the tears have dried, get back to the drawing board :-)

mash. For a start theres an excellent example of the eagle of scifi-meshes website. Its in LWO (lightwave object) so you "should" be able to load it and resave it as another format.

ive discoved that removal of the engine section reduces poly count from + 4000 to 700 so im redoing that part
thanks for the advice major as always
iam somewhat limited when it comes to textures having only nero photo editor to use for texturing
