Description:
Icewolf132's fantastic version of the Prometheus class starship is finally here. You've seen this beauty in the forums from inception through to the final stages of the design work, and now it can be yours in-game as well. The textures look perfect, the 1.2.5 enabled MVAM works perfectly, and the Borg textures are terrifyingly perfect. Not to mention all the usual add-ons you've come to expect in good mods (build button and wireframe for all parts and fusion weapons, admirals' log pics).

Please note that due to a technical issue (also known as 'the Kid being technically inept'), the low-res textures referred to in the readme can be found here:

Prometheus Class, V1.0

The Prometheus class is one of the most well known ships from Star Trek, mainly from a new take on Starship Seperation; the Multi Vector Assault Mode. Dispite it's fame, this ship is a rather elusive one in Armada II, especially with MVAM support. While there is a version of the Prommie originally created by Deemon/Gonwee, time had not faired well with it.

So here I present a new Prometheus class model with MVAM support, as well as several diffrent textures to choose from. I admit that while I tried to get it as close to the cannon design, it's not perfect. But it is of good quallity, and it brings a bit of Diversity for the class.

Please note though, that the PP 1.2.5 patch is requred for MVAM support.

1 - Installation


Within the zip file you will find a directory for the core files, as well as directories for lower resolution textures and alternate borg textures. By default, the Prometheus uses 1024 by 1024 textures, to install the lower res textures (512 by 512) you MUST install the files in the Prometheus_Files directory FIRST!

Default install; extract the contents of the Prometheus_Files into your Armada II Directory.

Afterwards, either extract the textures from whatever alternate folder in the .zip's directory you wish into your Armada II Directory. The alternate directories contain as listed;

/Prometheus_Files - Core files and default textures
/low_res - Low resolution textures (Default and borg)
/GreenBorg_textures - Alternate borg textures with green nacelles, engines, ect.
/GreenBorg_low_res - Low res Alternate borg textures

I never downloaded a version of the Prometheus because I didn't find one that stood out to me (no offence to anyone who has released one, your skill is undeniable wink ) but this one is going straight to my MODS folder stick out tongue

Hello, I've noticed that there were some bugs in the ODF files, they'll be fixed in a second release I'll upload asap. My apologies, it's what I get for moving modding directories >.<

When the ship is finished building and is about to appear from the yard, my A2 crashes.
Any idea what I may have done wrong?
