No Fader and Instant Warp - File Description  


Description:
A first time mod and you know, not half a bad attempt. Whilst I understand the first part, allowing you to zoom in without the ships fading, but the second one seem's a bit unclear to me. Anyhow, why don't you download it and check it out, hmmm?

No fade out when close to screen mod:


Before you say how rubbish this is,
please know that it is my FIRST mod
for A2. Please at least have mercy!

Anyway, this is a mod which changes t
he view mode so as when you zoom in o
n a ship it wont fade out.
This mod also changes
the game so that you can warp from
any distance (you dont have to use
impulse if you are close)

I hope to produce more mods soon,
however i am doing my 15-16yr old
GCSE'S.
Please go easy on this mod, Please!

Installation:
Just place in root A2 Folder

Posts: 3497 		instant warp as in the speed parameters for warp are altered in the odfs to make it seem simultaneous? anyway nice idea.. hope it works

Posts: 20 		I think, based on the readme, that you can go to warp even over short distances, like one or two grid squares.

Posts: 77 		i like the part concerning the fade-in/out... good idea.

instantaneous warp... i would have released this seperately, as it's more of a change in how you play the game, not just a visual like the fading.

still all around a good release. congrats on your first!

By the way, the instant warp means that you can go to warp from any didtance. eg, when you are within 15 squares you dont have to use impulse. the ships use warp until you actually get there
