New Launch Trailer for Prince of Persia: The Fallen King
Tue, 02 Dec 2008 22:40:48 +0000
In preparation for it’s Dec. 4 release, Ubisoft has unveiled a new launch trailer for the upcoming Prince of Persia: The Fallen King. This new game arrives on the DS about the same time as it’s console big brother, but sporting some cartoony graphics. This is the first time I’ve seen some actual gameplay for this title, and for a DS side-scroller, the game looks pretty slick. It looks like they’ve actually translated the Prince’s signature acrobatics into 2D pretty well. Guess we’ll find out how the whole thing plays in a couple of days.

Tue, 02 Dec 2008 20:25:25 +0000
Most video game fans have not been happy with the recent DRM suddenly seeping its way into some of their favorite games (at least, if the outcry against games like Spore and Mass Effect are any indication). Since game developers tend to be fans as well, it’s not surprise really that even those in the industry are not pleased with the current direction that copyright protection is taking. Now Gabe Newell of Valve has expressed his disapproval with DRM in the form of an e-mail to gamer, Paul Reisinger. In the e-mail, Newell stated:

New Street Fighter IV Screens Raise Some Character-Related Questions
Tue, 02 Dec 2008 19:58:24 +0000
Capcom has unveiled a new batch of Street Fighter IV screens that focus on some of the not-so-classic characters in the roster. You know, those characters that showed up sometime after the huge surge in Street Fighter popularity and just never lived up to the likes of Ryu or Chun-Li. Characters like Sakura, you’re typical ass-kicking schoolgirl (those apparently terrorize the streets of Japan). Or Dan, who’s a bit like Ryu and Ken only…different.
